National Show Monday, October 17, 2005
The third day of the
National dog show marked an end to a very successful
three day weekend of dog shows in Pereira, Colombia.
A photo array of the winners appears below. Judge
Richard Paquette selected as Best In Show the Fila
Brasileiro, Ch. L'Napoleao Do Caudilho, Reserve
Best In Show was trhe Boston Terrier, Ch. KC's Bullet
Proof and Best Puppy In Show was the Boxer, Grand
Master Of Tierradentro. After Best In Show the club
sponsored a hospitality table for the workers and
remaining exhibitors which was well received and
appreciated. The club also provided the judges with
some awesome gifts as mementos of our trip to Columbia
including a beautiful platter and decanter made
of local Guadua bamboo. We bid a fond farewell to
our many newfound friends and looked forward to
meeting them again. A special thank you is extended
to Sandra Betancourt and Jose Mesa our hosts for
taking such good care of us on our first trip to
Colombia.
